Our two Merced River State Parks, McConnell and Hatfield, are slated to close this June 30th unless we raise $ 64,000 to cover the difference between gate receipts and the costs of maintenance and staffing.

Of the nearly 40,000 annual visitors, many are our working families that need rest, recreation and to share an outdoor experience. These two parks have campsites, hiking and picnic areas and beaches. If closed, the vacant properties will draw crime and vagrants. Please give what you can to keep these special river parks open for all.
